Focusing in Coaching

Over the past few years Coaching has become an increasingly popular format for exploring personal and professional development. Coaching can be useful for managers and others involved in the creative or corporate world and public sector institutions. It is also a useful arena for individuals who are seeking 'life coaching' to achieve greater balance or pursue new goals in their personal life.

By adding the awareness of the body's wisdom, Focusing Coaching can enrich any other skills that are offered by Coaches. It offers the Coaching Client a way of being with their own experience that can bring surprising insights that would not come from thinking alone.

Focusing Coaching can take the form of individual sessions that concentrate on a specific work issue or life project. Or, this approach to Coaching can be offered as group training at the workplace, offering a way to enhance satisfaction at work by creating an innovative work culture where novelty is encouraged. Focusing training has already been especially effective in small business settings and with staff who work with the public.

Focusing training for Coaches will be offered in Brighton soon. Supervision for Executive and Life Coaches is available now. See also The Work Consultancy Partnership website.
