Focusing in Mediation

Mediation, or Alternative Conflict Resolution, offers constructive ways to resolve interpersonal conflict, commercial disagreements, and family disputes. Focusing, by incorporating a form of deep experiential listening, can clarify the underlying layers that keep conflicts in place. Our mediation service is available to individuals, couples, families, business professionals, and staff teams in any setting.

There is also a model of Interactive Focusing that can be offered as a training workshop for professionals wanting to develop these skills for themselves or for application in their workplace.

FocusBrighton aims to cooperate with other researchers and agencies in order to develop community-based forms of mediation for application in broader contexts, where conflict between communities requires larger scale forms of listening and facilitation. Please contact us in Brighton for more information.
