Dr Greg Madison offers a range of therapeutic services. The style of therapy is respectful and exploratory, each session with its own flavour, keeping the treatment as effective as possible.

You do not have to be in crisis or have a mental health issue to benefit from these psychological therapy sessions. They offer the opportunity to explore all aspects of life experience, from personal development to difficult conditions such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Bereavement
  • Illness
  • Relationship issues
  • Identity Issues
  • Family issues
  • Understanding life patterns
  • Work stress and life balance
  • Health and death anxiety
  • Existential questions
  • Meaning in life
  • Life transitions
  • Working with bodily feelings and sensations

Sessions were offered face-to-face in central London and Brighton & Hove, however, since changes necessitated by Covid, sessions are currently online using Zoom, Skype or Facetime. This allows clients at a geographical distance to join the practice. I usually travel internationally to teach (when travel is permitted), so there is some flexibility about times and frequency of meeting. It is not a condition of my practice that we meet each week – this is negotiated.

My fees are in line with senior experienced psychologists offering psychotherapy from the UK and so may be higher than newly registered professionals. I am recognised as a Specialist Provider for private healthcare* (your insurance company will tell you what your policy covers and whether you require a GP referral to see a psychologist or psychotherapist).

If you are self-financing, you can contact me directly through email without a referral from another professional. If we agree to work together we will begin with one session and then see if you would like to continue.

*Due to recent changes in their practices, I have withdrawn my services from AXAPPP.
