Greg presented the inaugural ‘An Audience with…’ event for Brighton University School of Applied Social Sciences February 8th. After a brief introduction, the audience was guided through a Focusing experience in order to be able to assess the points Greg wanted to make by reference to their own experience. Greg addressed issues such as:
what is the body,
the celebration of not-knowing,
process and metaphors in understanding and in therapy,
personal presence or professional presence as a therapist,
the metaphors of home & belonging for describing human experience,
& embodied democracy where listening rather than voting is described as the most basic democratic act.
The second half of the 3 hour presentation was Q&A.
